It's complete schadenfreude, but I watch reactions to this, predicting all along: "oh, he's already messed up. Oh, she's already tearing up. They're gonna get WRECKED." I tear up and sniffle a bit, seeing it, even though I've listened to the song a hundred times by now and it's a bit dulled. There's a companionship in sharing this, even at an extreme distance, with a stranger. This one was a bit more interesting, because I watch YOU, more than the original, to milk out all the... to see all the natural emoting. I immediately registered both "oh, he's a trained professional, he'll be stoic" and "oh, he's an empathic soul, he'll be vulnerable." Both were true. I won't explain why, here, but that was helpful, in a probably idiosyncratic way, for me in my life right now. I guess I'm a little afraid of therapists, and this helped bridge the gap for me. Thanks.

Theres something similar to Violates tale also. From Violets abusive boyfriends perspective. It was part of the Money Game 3 treasure hunt. But it's really hard to find. I know it's in middle of one of Rika Shae's videos. It's basically sequence of events after Violets boyfriend realises he has probably killed Violet, and he flee's. Then the user can decide his further decisions and see how he ends up depending on viewers decisions.

really bro? you mind the comments about your appearance? a few tried to make me feel shit about mine, through my 50 years, they regret it bcz of my answers. the nick i carry since i was 14 and you see on screen, means 'Sharp', in greek language. didn't chose it. friends gave it to me for my responses and my stand in life. as they say, i am not a easy person, but i am fair and compassionate to those that deserved it. lived homeless through 2016-2020. i lost most of my teeth and those who left in my mouth,are broken in half or more,also i had a heart attack and since i remember my self, anxiety disorder and depression thanks to 'mom and dad'. after 4 years of therapy, i decide to cut connections with therapists. i am not sick. i just can't stand the inhumanity around us and i got a pretty sharp tongue, when shit comes around my appearance. comments like this smells like Plague.bcz thats what they got in their soul those who spitting words like this. some, say i quit life bcz i don't give a breath about how i look. i say the society got bigger probs than my bad teeeth/health/rude mouth. if it's not a big deal, i want you to tell me which song of Ren that you have reacted, made you laugh.. see you around

This is one of Juice's most important songs - he's always been incredibly self aware of his situation. It's not just about his self destruction - it's about his mentality. You can't save him. He knows what his situation is and he knows that he's young and stupid and you aren't going to tell him otherwise. He isn't blind to the fact he's going to die young, he's blind to the advice and the guidance that you want to give him. Juice is going to do whatever Juice wants to do - ultimately Juice wants to take drugs. Despite the negatives, despite knowing it's gonna kill him, he's gonna ride the wave. There's a part of him that wants to believe he's indestructible and that he's going to beat the odds, but really there's no denying his fate and he's aware of that. I really wish he was still here, because he was exactly what rap needed. Just like Mac Miller, the inner demons and the drugs were too much.

Thank you for making this reaction video. Not only did you do it in a respectful and fair way to Ren as an artist who put a phenomenal amount of effort and craft into his work by not simply letting it run and using his art whole cloth, but your insights were inspiring and a worthwhile addition to the piece. This was the reaction video I had been looking for, or at least a way of making a reaction (in terms of content and approach) that I wanted to watch.

Another great reaction. One of the things that came up when several of us were discussing the Insta stories on Rencord was that there are hints that, in addition to being abused, Screech may also have have suffered from some form of (presumably) undiagnosed mental illness. It is difficult to be sure, because his behavior could have been the result of drugs and/or alcohol, but Screech's behavior--the way he annoys his friends even when they clearly dislike it, the way he becomes quickly irritable when corrected, his reaction to the neon sign, the clear anxiety-to-rage reaction when his friend tries to back-out of the robbery--may indicate several mental illnesses, including Bipolar Disorder or Schizo-affective disorder. This adds another layer of complexity to the character of Screech, and makes him as much a victim as either Jenny or Violet before them. Ren is amazing at taking these topics--abuse, poverty, etc--and presenting them in a way that highlights the compounding complexity of both what causes these problems, and also shows that there isn't a black-and-white solution that will fix everything easily.

Hi, I have severe BPD, my main coping mechanism is dissociation (it's been years so I can't remember what it feels like to not feel dissociated), I'm almost always in the freeze trauma response. So for me I feel like I'm stuck in this world. I take almost 10 meds a day, I started taking them at 15 years old, and now that I'm almost 23, the only thing I can do to survive is taking MORE meds. I'm still not functioning. I think these are my last years on this planet, so I'm looking for alternative methods. If anyone has suggestions I'd be happy, I live in Italy but I would fly anywhere to find a cure that isn't meds. Thank you.

This is what marks Ren out as being unique in the music industry imo. Ren's genius is there for all to see as most of us know - it's what lies beneath that though that sets him apart. It's this level of attention to detail to the trilogy and the importance that Ren places on us having as much context as possible to the story is mind boggling - that he was so aware to highlight to the viewer that we should also see Screech as a victim of his upbringing and circumstance. As I understand it, Ren told only a very close circle of people about this and when these stories were posted, Instagram thought this was so real that they threatened to close Ren's Instagram account and Ren lost many many followers on the back of it. Still he knew the story and what he was saying was so important.
